我道我画

自学画以来，一路跌跌撞撞，总在渐悟、顿悟、解悟、证悟。承载着使命，承载着世纪末的虚拟与沉重，也承载着虚荣和无聊的奉承，怀着对艺术之神的敬畏，在欲念的苦海中挣扎、沉浮，战战兢兢地走过四十几个春秋。
如今，人过四十，为人之父，领略到中年的滋味，体验人生，感知社会、天道、地道、人道。我关注着这个世界，这个世界也作用于我。我这么活着，也这么画着……生活真是好舞台，它会让你慌张、虚伪、坦然、踏实。世界最终是公平的，经过这些年的漂泊之后，觉得自己是可以静下来享受生活了。从过往到现在，已经有几十年了，最终也说不清，为什么还在坚持，或者是惰性，或者是软弱，或许更加真实，或许是虚拟的，或许本来就是游戏。
父亲的血液在我的体内澎湃，激励着我走上了山水画这条路。父亲也是山水画家，他的一生，是用水墨泼洒而成的，他传承着民族艺术的灵秀与大气，用毕生的精力，镌刻着华夏的文明。尽管只尽了绵薄，那却是他的一生。
我企望在中国山水画的崇高中寻找创造性的形式语言，超越存在的生命形象，以及意蕴深邃的艺术境界。这样我又一页一页翻开了传统，一步一步回到数世纪以前的绘画宝藏之中。我深感汉晋文字的博大雄浑，唐宋诗词的刚健清新，宋元绘画天人合一的精神。这些无一不体现着华夏文明庞大的文化构架和潜在的生命活力。
我在试着运用东方水墨式的渲染和单纯的墨色，去掉很多人为的色彩的造型，有如禅之菩提，将心灵从此超脱完善，寻找那远去的远古生命寓意来消解现存的社会冲突。现存的文明日益强大，不断地腐蚀着内在的生命心灵，需要这种内心的太阳之心来指引内在的生命之魂，去抵抗和消解冲突中的伤痛和生命中的体验。用最原始的、最简洁的、最易辨认的符号介入，最大限度地展现思维本身所具有的艺术精神。希望这种简单而随意的本能性质能直接触摸到人类思维中最感性的艺术思维，这也是最可靠的本质。让点、线、面构建出你心中的神的具象，现实会解读你人格化的符号，你的艺术之神亦将以人格化的符号，造就你现实的神——生活。
别忘了，生命需要激情，需要平凡，需要实在。到你终老时，你的神以超然的眼睛看你这一生的追求与青春。我将抓牢我的画笔，用创造的激情愉悦整个生命的流程。这是我最大的成就。

I Talk About My Drawing

Since I have learnt drawing, I’m always in the process of realizing gradually, gaining an insight, analyzing the realization as well as proving the realization through a road of blunder. Burdened with mission, the dummy and heaviness of the end of the century as well as vain and boring flatter, I have gone through more than forty years with the awe to the God of art in a great fear and through the struggle and vicissitude in the bitter sea of desire.
Now, having been over forty and a father of some one, I have got the taste of middle age and the experience of life and apperceive society, divine nature, geography nature as well as human nature. I’m watching the world and the world is also influencing me. I’m living like this and drawing like so…Life is a real good stage, on which you will feel anxious, hypocritical, calm and steady. The world is fair ultimately and I feel that I can enjoy life quietly after these years of wandering. It has been decades from the past to now, but I can’t tell why I persist. Or it is inertia and or it is weakness: Perhaps it is truer or fictitious and it is perhaps originally a game.
My father’s blood bursts in my body and encourages me to engage in the art of landscape. Father is also a landscape painter with all his life painted by water-ink. He is passing down the witty and magnificence of folk art and engraves Chinese civilization with all his life. Even though his contribution is so little, it is his real whole life.
I’m looking forward to finding a formal language surpassing the existing life form and the profound artic state. Therefore, I open the tradition page by page and come back to the treasure house several centuries aback step by step. I feel deep the larger canvas of writing in Han and Jin Dynasties and vigorousness and clearness of poetries in Tang and Song Dynasties as well as the spirit of the combination of heaven and human of the paintings in Song and Yuan Dynasties. There isn’t any of them which doesn’t show the cultural structure and potential life vitality of Chinese culture
I’m trying throwing off those man-made colored sculpts with romancing of eastern water-ink and the simple black color, which just like Buddh whose heart become detached and perfect looks for the past ancient life’s moral to dissipate the existing social conflicts. The existing civilization which is getting stronger every day is now continuously eroding the inner soul of life. Therefore, it is necessary for such inner sun’s heart to direct the inner soul of life so as to resist and clear the pains in the conflicts and the experiences in life. It shows the art spirit of the thought itself by the greatest extent with the intervention of the most original, simple emblem which can be easily recognized. I hope this simple and free instinctive character can touch directly the most sentimental art thinking, which is also the most reliable essence. Let a point, line and surface build out the detail picture of God in your mind. The reality will read your personified emblem and your art God will also create your real God—Life with this personified emblem.
Don’t forget that life needs verve, commonness and actuality. When you are old, your God will look at the pursuit and youth of all your life with his transcendent eyes. I will hold firmly the paintbrush in my hand and divert my whole process of life with my furor of creation which is my biggest accomplishment.
